Rob Thurman

Instruments: Drums, Vocals, Recording Engineer.

Experience: Rob has been performing and teaching drum set
instruction for the past 30 years. His formal training includes 7
years of study with legendary Buffalo jazz drummer, Louis
Marino. His teaching experience spans over 28 years and he has
inspired more than 300 students.

Rob has attended master classes with drummers: Terry
Bozzio (Frank Zappa), Chester Thompson (Genesis, Weather
Report), Dom Famalaro (Independent), Liberty Devito (Billy
Joel), and Rick Gratton (Independent). Rob currently works
with Navigator as a drummer, lyricist and recording engineer.
Navigator has shared the stage with Kansas, Eddie Money,
Nazareth and Rocker Scientists to name a few.

Rob also keeps buys performing with Elvis tribute artist Rick
Alviti and has toured with The Rick Alviti Show Band
extensively to venues in Rena, Nevada, Lake Tahoe, Hot
Springs Arkansas, The Bahamas, Cozumel, Key West, St.
Thomas and Mt. Maartin.

In Addition, Rob is a member of “The Thurman Brothers Band”
performing locally as well as east coast tours over the past 15
years. He has also been a member of two Genesis tribute bands,
Seconds Out (Toronto) and The Waiting Room (Rochester) touring
tri-state areas of New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
